The Golden Age And The Fact Of Hollywood -- All Short note About Hollywood
ABOUT
The City of Hollywood is a beachfront community located in southeastern Broward Country midway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Founded by Joseph Young in 1925, Hollywood is approximately 30 square miles in size and is Broward’s third-largest municipality with a population of roughly 153,000 residents. Hollywood is home to more than 60 parks, seven golf courses, seven miles of pristine beaches, and the one-of-a-kind Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, a promenade that stretches nearly 2.5 miles along the Atlantic Ocean. Dozens of eateries and inns line the Broadwalk and the promenade also features the Hollywood Beach Theatre, a children’s water playground at Charnow Park, and many other attractions. Hollywood Beach also offers dozens of luxury hotels and condominiums such as The Diplomat Resort & Spa Hollywood, Trump Hollywood, and Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. Hollywood also has 13 private schools and several career schools. Nationally renowned higher learning institutions such as Barry University,
Nova Southeastern University, and City College have research and educational facilities in Hollywood. Hollywood has steadily grown into a dynamic business hub with more than 10,000 companies in the City. Approximately 80 per cent of Port Everglades, the world’s second-busiest cruise port, is located in Hollywood and the port is home to Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas, the largest cruise liners in the world. Hollywood also provides easy access to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and Miami International Airport, a major gateway to Latin America. Hollywood also is home to the Memorial Healthcare System, the nation's fifth-largest healthcare network, its flagship hospital, Memorial Regional, and the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, the largest free-standing children's healthcare facility in Broward County. Historic Downtown Hollywood is a lively commercial, entertainment and cultural arts district. Downtown Hollywood hosts hundreds of concerts, music festivals, dance exhibitions, shows, art exhibits, and much more. You can enjoy a wide variety of music and entertainment from live jazz, blues, rock, Latin, and R&B, all just a few steps apart. Hollywood provides a hometown atmosphere with a world-class beach in the heart of South Florida.
HOLLYWOOD FACTS
Hollywood is a neighbourhood in Los Angeles, California, most famous for its iconic film industry and studios. In 1886 when it was only an agricultural community, a real estate developer on his honeymoon, named H.J. Whitley, stood atop the hill in Hollywood looking over the valley. A Chinese
man hauling wood passed by and Whitley asked him what he was doing. When the man, because of his accent, replied, "holly-wood", Whitley was inspired to name the area Hollywood. Whitley's town grew and in 1903 it became a municipality. In the early 1900s filmmakers began to make movies in Los Angeles, and in 1910 Hollywood merged with Los Angeles. Its first studio opened in 1911. As the film industry grew Hollywood gained the nickname Tinseltown, and today it is known as the most famous film industry centre in the world.GOLDEN AGE OF HOLLYWOOD
The Golden Age of Hollywood was a period of great growth, experimentation and change in the
industry that brought international prestige to Hollywood and its movie stars.Under the all-controlling studio system of the era, five movie studios known as the “Big Five” dominated: Warner Brothers, RKO, Fox, MGM and Paramount. Smaller studios included Columbia, Universal and United Artists. The Golden Age of Hollywood began with the silent movie era (though some people say it started at the end of the silent movie age). Dramatic films such as The Birth of a Nation (1915) and comedies such as The Kid (1921) starring Charlie Chaplin were popular nationwide. Soon, movie stars such as Chaplin, the Marx Brothers and Tallulah Bankhead were adored everywhere. With the introduction of movies with sound, Hollywood producers churned out Westerns, musicals, romantic dramas, horror films and documentaries. Studio movie stars were even more idolized, and Hollywood increased its reputation as the land of affluence and fame.By the 1930s, at the height of Hollywood’s Golden Age, the movie industry was one of the largest businesses in the United States. Even in the depths of the Great Depression, movies were a weekly escape for many people who loved trading their struggles for a fictional, often dazzling world, if only for a couple of hours.
What Is Hollywood-- A short note About Hollywood Film Industry
HOLLYWOOD FILM INDUSTRY
In 1908 one of the first storytelling movies, The Count of Monte Cristo, was completed in Hollywood after its filming had begun in Chicago. In 1911 a site on Sunset Boulevard was turned into Hollywood’s first studio, and soon about 20 companies were producing films in the area. In 1913 Cecil B. DeMille, Jesse Lasky, Arthur Freed, and Samuel Goldwyn formed Jesse Lasky Feature Play Company (later Paramount Pictures). DeMille produced The Squaw Man in a barn one block from present-day Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street, and more box-office successes soon followed. Hollywood had become the centre of the American film industry by 1915 as more independent filmmakers relocated there from the East Coast. For more than three decades, from early silent films through the advent of “talkies,” figures such as D.W. Griffith, Goldwyn, Adolph Zukor, William Fox, Louis B. Mayer, Darryl F. Zanuck, and Harry Cohn served as overlords of the great film studios—Twentieth Century-Fox, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Paramount Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Warner Brothers, and others. Among the writers who were fascinated by Hollywood in its “golden age” were F. Scott Fitzgerald, Aldous Huxley, Evelyn Waugh, and Nathanael West.

How can I read Messages and watch Statuses without knowing the Sender
Have you ever been stuck in that awkward situation where a friend offended because you didn't/couldn't reply to a WhatsApp messages which was assumed you might have read?Or that time when you wanted to read a message but did not want to read a message but did not want to reply nor let the sender know you read it? But these pesky blue ticks always get you when you open WhatsApp to read the messages."So, what can be done? How do I read WhatsApp messages secretly without the blue ticks". There is a cool and official trick which lets you read WhatsApp messages without being keeping your phone in Airplane mode.
STEP -1
Open your WhatsApp in your phone
STEP -2
Then go to The Three dot in screen's right side
STEP -3
Touch The Settings
STEP -4
Touch the Account
STEP- 5
Click on the Privacy
STEP -6
Turn Off The Read recipts
If you disable this Read recipts you can read messages and watch statuses without knowing the sender. Believe me it really works. But in this case it have disadvantages. This trick works vice versa also. You cannot watch your status viewers and your delivered message is seen or not. Another Trick is that you have to download and Install WhatsApp Incognito.
This is a type of WhatsApp where you can see the messages without the blue tick. But my reference is that to use the first one. I know that this was very frastating when you don't see the status viewers but if you change the settings in Settings privacy, then you know the who can see your statuses, you have control on this. And another problem is your delivered messages is seen or not by the receiver. If your WhatsApp screen shows "typing" after the name of the receiver which is saved in your WhatsApp or if receiver reply you then there is no problem and no hesitation to use the first one. Now the problem is solved. Wished you a good luck to try these features. If you find any another trick, please comment me in below.
