KNOW The BOLLYWOOD--- short note about the Bollywood

Bollywood is the name given to the films made by studios and film makers who are based mostly in Mumbai,India. The name "BOLLYWOOD" Originates from 2 different names, namely Bombay(new Mumbai) and Hollywood,which together made "Bollywood". 

When the name was placed, it was those phases that Indian cinema looked upon Hollywood for inspiration,but NOW, that the days have changed Indian Cinema seems to be at par with it's International Counterpart. It is a name for the country's Hindi Film Industry.

This page -3 industry started off with the first full length feature film "Raja Harischandra" which was a Black and White film.

 At the time male actors played the female characters by shaving off their moustaches to make it look more realistic but as the time changed the titles, the story related to movie showed a remarkable change. The transition from Black and White movies to Eastman colors to cinema of different concepts and ideologies were released showing an influential effect on the mind sets of people. Such has been the love and passion of the people and the Indian cinema that today,Bollywood holds the Guieness Book of world record for producing the highest number of movies each year.

 Claims are often made that Bollywood is the biggest industry in the world,with the American Counterpart placing third-behind Nollywood.

So YES! There is no disputing that finally Bollywood has arrived and its SUPERSTARS are shinning bright. It does not matter which part of the global you live in anymore. It helps people to enjoy and cherish there lives. We are sure that Bollywood has evolved in the coming days, and continue to be one of the best places to showcase our skills in any of this type.
